Ciprofloxacin 200mg

○ Applicable indications
- Respiratory infections
- Infections of ear/nose/throat, mouth, jaw and teeth
- Kidney urinary tract infections
- Genital infections, including gonorrhea
- Gastrointestinal Infections
- Infection of the bile minutes pessimism
- Skin and soft tissue infections and wounds
- Infection of the bone joints
- Gynecological infections ever
- Septicemia, peritonitis
- Ocular Infections

1) Administer 100~400 mg as ciprofloxacin for a dose, twice a day generally for adult.
2) For mild or moderate urinary tract infection administer single 200mg as ciprofloxacin for a dose, twice daily, and for severe or complex urinary tract infection, increase to 400mg a dose, twice a day.
3) In a single dose 400mg, 1 twice a day as this medicine For mild or moderate lower respiratory infection, skin or skin structure infection, bone and joint infection, administer this drug 400mg a dose twice a day. For severe lower respiratory infection, skin or skin structure infection, bone and joint infection, increase to 400mg a dose, 3 times a day.

2. Administration period: The average administration period of this injection agent is 7~14 days generally, but for bone or joint infections, administer for 4~6weeks or longer. Even when symptom of infection is disappeared, administer 2 days more in general.

3. This drug shall be intravenously injected over a period of 60 minutes, and considering the degree of infection, the pathogen susceptibility, patient condition and liver/renal function, etc. of the patient, the dose shall be determined. After the initial intravenous therapy, it can be switched oral intake depending on the patient's condition.

4. Patients with renal impairment
1) creatinine clearance ≥ 30mL / min: administer normal dose
2) 5~29mL / min: administer 200~400mg every 18~24 hours
3) If you know only the serum creatinine, the creatinine clearance can be obtained by the following formula.
Men: {weight (kg) × (140-age)} / {72 × serum creatinine(mg/dL)}
Female: 0.85 × the value calculated for men
