Main Raw Materials
1 vial contains;
Vancomycin HCl----------500mg
Effect
Endocarditis, Osteomyelitis, Arthritis, Peritonitis, Meningitis, Superficail secondary infection caused by burn or surgery wound, Pneumonia, Septicemia, Lung abscess, Pleural empyema, Severe infection which has not been cured by cephalosporin series antibiotics, Coloenteritis, Antibiotic associated pseudomembranous colitis caused by difficile( treat by oral intake)
Dosage and Usage
1. Adult: drip intravenous injection of 500mg(titer) of vancomycin every 6 hours or 1g(titer) every 12 hours
2. Child: Intravenous injection of 10mg(titer) of vancomycin per kg-weight every 6 hours. To infant, intravenous injection of 10~15mg(titer) of vancomycin per kg-weight every 12 hours.
Directions for the use of medicine
다음 환자에는 투여하지 말 것
1) 이 약에 의해 쇽의 병력이 있는 환자
2) 이 약 또는 펩타이드계 항생물질, 아미노글리코사이드계 항생물질에 과민반응의 병력이 있는 환자
주의사항
1) 펩타이드계 항생물질, 아미노글리코사이드계 항생물질에 의한 난청 또는 다른 난청이 있는 환자에는 투여하지 않는 것을 원칙으로 하지만 부득이하게 투여할 경우에는 신중히 투여한다.
2) 급성 요폐증상 등의 신장애 환자(배설이 지연되어 축적되므로 혈중농도를 모니터링하는 등 신중히 투여한다.)
